'Manon Lescaut' and 'Thaïs' at the Salzburg Festival

Benjamin Bernheim returns to the Salzburg Festival this summer, making two role debuts in sold-out concert presentations of Puccini's Manon Lescaut and Massenet's Thaïs. He sings Edmondo in Manon Lescaut, alongside Anna Netrebko in the title role, Yusif Eyvazov as Renato Des Grieux, and Armando Piña is Lescaut. The performances take place August 1, 4 & 7 at the Großes Festspielhaus, with Marco Armiliato leading the Münchner Rundfunkorchester.

On August 16, Mr. Bernheim stars as Nicias in Thaïs with a spectacular cast, including Sonya Yoncheva (Thaïs) and Plácido Domingo (Athanaël). Patrick Fournillier conducts the Münchner Rundfunkorchester for this greatly anticipated concert event, a highlight of this year's Salzburg Festival offerings.
