Opera Streaming During Covid-19

During the closure of the theaters due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak, Mr. Bernheim will be featured in two operas that will be streamed online. On March 25th, at 19:30, the new production of Manon from Opéra national de Paris will be broadcast on Medici TV, and will be available for a limited amount of time following the broadcast to stream online. Starring Pretty Yende in the title role, and Ludovic Tézier as Lescaut, Benjamin makes a triumphant return to the role of Des Grieux in this Vincent Huguet production conducted by Dan Ettinger.

On March 31st, at 19:00, L'elisir d'amore will be broadcast from the Wiener Staatsoper. Recorded in 2018, Aida Garifullina sings Adina, Benjamin Bernheim sings Nemorino, and Orhan Yildiz sings Belcore. The stream is available free here.

Mr. Bernheim looks forward to performing again live as soon as it is safe to do so, and hopes that these recordings will lift the spirits of his followers and friends during this difficult period.
