Nomination for "Singer of the Year"

Benjamin Bernheim has just been nominated in two categories by the Opus Klassik Awards: "SÄNGER DES JAHRES "and "NACHWUCHSKÜNSTLER/IN." Germany's most prestigious Classical Music Awards, past winners include Jonas Kaufmann, Joyce DiDonato, Diana Damrau, and many other outstanding artists. The Bru Zane Foundation's recording of Faust, on which Benjamin sang the title role, was also nominated in the "OPERNEINSPIELUNG" category, and Emmanuel Villaume was nominated for "DIRIGENT/IN DES JAHRES " for his work on Mr. Bernheim's debut album with Deutsche Grammophon. After deliberation by the jury, the winner will be announced in October.
