Edgardo at Opernhaus Zurich
Mr. Bernheim returns to the Opernhaus Zurich, where his international career began in the Zurich Opera Studio, to perform the role of Edgardo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor shortly after a successful debut of the role at the Wiener Staatsoper last month. Andrea Sanguineti conducts Zurich Philharmonia, accompanying this all-star cast, which includes; Lisetta Oropesa as Lucia, with whom Mr. Bernheim recently shared the stage in Vienna, Massimo Cavalletti as Enrico Ashton, Andrew Owens as Lord Arthur Bucklaw, Vitaliy Kovalyov as Raimondo Bidebent, Roswitha Christina Mueller as Alisa, and Iain Milne as Norman. Performances of this revival of Tatjana Gürbaca's production will take place on May 22nd, 26th, 29th, and June 4th and 12th.
