Inauguration Concert for the new Auditorium of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

After a successful run of performances as Il Duca di Mantova in Verdi’s Rigoletto at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Bernheim travels to Italy to perform at the inauguration of the new auditorium hall of the Teatro del Maggio (Zubin Mehta Hall) in Florence, on December 21st. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta with the Maggio Choir and Orchestra. Benjamin joins his colleague, Baritone soloist Mattia Olivieri for Puccini’s solemn Messa di Gloria. This historic event will be attended by Italian President Sergio Mattarella, as we see the new center of cultural production being brought to life for the first time, a venue that will reinforce the musical offering of the Maggio.

On December 22nd, Mr. Bernheim performs a similar program which includes Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Bruckner's Te Deum.

The concert on the 21st will be broadcast live on Rai 5 and Rai Radio 3 at 5:45, and on 22 December on Rai 3 at 3:25 pm.
